The W/T Set C Mk I was a Continuous Wave (CW) Wireless Teletype set intended for use at Divisions and Brigades. It consisted of two main parts, a reception set and a sender set. The sender was usually used with a 120ft aerial in two 15 ft. masts while the receiver worked with a basic single wire or other aerial. Also part of a complete set was an engine driven generator set (or "power unit") and switchboard.[1][2]

Reception set "C" Mark I - comprised of Tuner "P", Amplifier "J" and Heterodyne No. 3
Generator Power Unit 180 watt
Switchboard "C" Mark I (also known as Switchboard Double Voltage No. 1)
Connectors twin No. 9 (L.T.) and Connectors twin No. 10 (H.T.) on reels
Cases, components No. 1, Mk I* or II (filled)
Wavemeter Townsend 300-4,000
Vavles A.R. 2 and A.T. 50
Bags, aerial gear "C" (filled)
3 reception accumulators
2 Mast 15 ft in carriers

It has not been confirmed if Canada used this W/T unit as no documentation or images have been located to date. There is evidence that Canada used the Wireless Telegraph Set C Mk II.
