Shared Services Group (Atlantic) was authorized to be formed as a unit of the Canadian Forces on 9 May 2012.[1]

Authorized to be disbanded on 31 May 2016.[2] The unit became 5 Line Squadron, a subunit of the newly created 77 Line Regiment.
