The Raismes Communal Cemetery is a cemetery in the Nord region of France containing the graves of Canadians killed during the Great War.

History

Raismes Communal Cemetery contains 25 Commonwealth burials of the First World War, most of them dating from October and November 1918.

Location

Raismes is a small town on the north-west edge of Valenciennes. The Cemetery is north of the Grand Place in the Rue du Cimetiere.

The majority of the Commonwealth war graves are in a plot in the north-west part of the cemetery, with the remaining four in a plot in the south-east corner.
