No. 3 Signal Company
Active 1913 – 1929
Garrison/HQ Kingston/Ottawa Ontario

No. 3 Signal Company was authorized and formed as a new unit in 1913[1]. When organized, No. 3 Signal Company was headquartered in Kingston. No. 1 Section had detachments at Ottawa and Kingston; No. 2 Section at Kingston and No. 3 Section at Ottawa. No. 4 Section was authorized but not yet organized.

In 1914, No. 2 Section was transferred from Kingston to Napanee Ontario and No. 4 Section was organized at Kingston.[2].

In 1920, the unit was redesignated "No. 3 Signal Company, 3rd Signal Battalion" upon the creation of the Battalion[3]. In 1926 the unit was relocated from Kingston to Ottawa[4]. It was later amalgamated with the Battalion and redesignated as No. 1 Company, 3rd Divisional Signals in 1929[5].
