General Order Number 250/1944, Dated: 27th May, 1944.

G.O. 250/44 - REDESIGNATION - ACTIVE AND RESERVE UNITS

Pursuant to the provisions of Order in Council P.C. 456, dated 19th January 1943, as notified in General Order 50 of 1943, the Minister of National Defence hereby authorizes the redesignation of the Active and Reserve Units of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals, as indicated hereunder:

1. The abbreviations "R.C.C.S." and "R.C. Signals" will be deleted from the designation of all units of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals.

2. All units will be redesignated by the addition of "R.C. Sigs" after the name of the unit where the same does not already appear in the designation.
